# What permissions will I need to grant 8fig?

To build accurate forecasts and assess risk, we ask new sellers joining 8fig to securely connect both their store and bank accounts. The process takes just two minutes through your 8fig dashboard.

**Store account:** Provides 8fig with view-only access to select reports from your primary selling platform.  
**Bank account:** Allows 8fig to view recent banking transactions. This access is strictly read-only and does not permit 8fig to move money on your behalf.
